Agent-Based Modeling of Bacterial Chemotaxis
From Glabwiki
We are modeling many aspects of the E. coli bacterial chemotaxis pathway using Agent-Based Modeling. This includes examinations of receptor cooperativity, feedback dynamics, and adaptation in the system. A manuscript is being prepared. This work is being done in collaboration with Bob Bourret, Dept. of Microbiology and Immunology at UNC. Check back soon for more updates.
Dr. Giddings will be giving a talk on this work at the Triangle Complexity Seminar on 7 December 2005 at 5pm (location TBA).
