Lab Meetings
Lab Meetings are on Fridays at 1:30 in room 802 Mary Ellen Jones Building unless otherwise posted.
The person that presented in the previous week is responsible for bringing snacks and munchies for the current week, lest they be subject to a Public Shaming! Woe betide thee that forgetteth the munchies!

Seminars of Interest
Theoretical & Systems Biology seminar series: student session
Our next seminar session will be held on November 20 at 1 pm in 408 MEJB. We thought that we should give opportunity to students to present their ideas and research. This time two of our young and talented colleagues will present:
1-1:30 pm, Jennifer D. Joyce, Department of Mathematics, Advisor: Mihai Sorin Mitran, “Mechanics of a Blebbing Cell”
and
1:30-2:00 pm, Shantanu Sharma, Department of Biochemistry & Biophysics, Advisor: Nikolay Dokholyan, “The Odyssey of Chromatin Organization: Histone Tails and Variants ”
Pizza will be served before the seminar and will be sponsored by the Program in Molecular and Cellular Biophysics.
We plan another student session during spring. If anybody wish to present please let me know.
